Apple Gives a Green Touch to His to its MacBook Series!

Every time you look at the MacBook Air, your heart really skips a beat and if you own a notebook then it just appears that bit less special in your eyes. This is exactly why I most often try not looking at one; it simply is too seductive. But then the price tag that comes with the light-weight champion is good enough to put me back in my place. Despite all the ‘styling and profiling’, Apple has always been criticized for creating products that are just not eco-conscious. But the new Apple MacBook Air with its green technology is the first step towards wiping that indictment off.

The fabulous new line of MacBooks now meets Energy Star 4.0, EPEAT Gold and RoHS environmental standards. With internal components that are BFR-free and an LED display that reduces 30% of energy compared the traditional MacBooks, this one is all about saving the planet. The mercury and arsenic-free screen is a further improvement in this regard and makes the Macbook series all the more green.

While surely Apple can do way better when it comes to green features, it is clear that they will never compromise on the form and functionality that make them unique and special. Apple though has enough know-how to craft within the borders of ergonomics a product that is loaded with green features and a complete trend-setter. The leaders of the industry surely can find that extra yard!
