Governor Schwarzenegger Flexes his Muscle for Solar Power
When good old Arnie flexes his muscle behind something you know that he surely means it. Despite being the Governor of a state, this man is still as charming and as forthright as he used to be. When it comes to Solar Energy, Arnold has always stood firmly behind the green energy source and has always campaigned for it. It was no different at the 2008 Solar Power International conference in San Diego where Arnold told California not to look back on Solar Power despite the economic crisis that surrounds them.
Arnold paid a surprise visit to the Conference and he reiterated how California was leading the US in green technology usage and solar power. It would be impossible to argue on that as indeed California has stood way ahead of the rest of the country when it comes to eco-friendly way of life. Campaigning for solar power, Arnold seems to have got a bit carried away when he actually said that he hopes to drive one day in a Solar-Powered Hummer! Now, that is the actor speaking for sure.
