Atmos Clock: A Potential Substitute to Energy Guzzling Battery Driven Clocks
Posted in Energy, Environment, Power, Solar on 25 July 2008

Mark Newson and Jaeger LeCoultre put forward a new-fangled battery less green widget named The Atmos 561 Clock, driven simply by temperature variations. No more than one degree Celsius temperature alteration would charge the clock for absolute Forty-eight hours. The accumulated potential energy of ethyl chloride and gas blend would be transformed to run clock as it spreads out against a spring in a chamber in response to changes in temperature. Housed within a crystal gauge, this power saving device provides excellent measurement. In the midst of sundry watches and timepieces we will actually stumble on it, not merely for its green worth but for its classy and trendy look as well. Positively, this elegant clock piece would dig up recognition in a little while once its ultimate pricing reasonably levels out.
